Fishflies over Moray Bridge last night?!

Did anyone here drive over the Moray Bridge around 10pm last night? Holy crap there was TONS of baby fishflies hovering around that area. When I was driving over the bridge it sounded like it was raining from all the bugs hitting my windshield. I've never seen anything like this before in the city. Did anyone else see this?

Hey all,

I'm hoping someone can give me some advice on what to do here. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my girlfriend. When we moved in 2 years ago, we knew that pets were not allowed in our apartment, but we decided to take it anyways, and smuggle the cat in. We've kept the place clean, and I rug doctor the carpets every year. We've been living here with the cat for over 2 years, but just today, one of our new neighbours ratted us out, and called our land lord.

She called me, and said that they saw a cat come into our apartment, which i don't doubt. Anyways, my first mistake was probably fessing up to the fact that we have the cat. Now I have to find a way to keep her. I basically told out land lord that we have a good clean apartment, and that the cat has never been an issue. I find this totally ironic since she has a rabbit, and she doesn't have to get rid of it.

Anyways, I've looked up the rules in our lease, and it says "Pets are not allowed except where specifically approved in writing by the landlord". So I think I just need to work some magic on her and convince her that it's better to have us stay since we're good tennants instead of forcing us to look for another place.

Any advice would be appreciated. thanks!
